The Rest I Find Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The Rest I Find

How would I define the rest I find
In Christ Jesus, my Redeemer?
It's the gentle whisper of the wind,
The warmth of sunshine on a flower,
The silent flight of butterflies
The song of birds among the trees,
The blueness of the boundless skies
The soft kiss of a soothing breeze.

This rest is forever in my heart
For I know the God Who holds me.
Through my life's storms He will not depart
He Who called me.... loves faithfully.
