The Revelation Of Love! Poem by Denis Martindale

At first, there's just an inkling that true love's in the air,
It's like when eyes are twinkling with joys beyond compare!
When someone takes your breath away, when someone steals your heart,
Yet not like those who make your day and then they, too, must part!

True love seems prone to linger still, consuming inmost thoughts,
Through fantasies that choose to thrill, according to reports!
Mills and Boon share their romances, just like a Hallmark card,
And their characters take chances, should conscience lose its guard!

But if you're strong, yes, really strong, true love you can resist,
Unless God wants that all along, then blessings won't get missed!
When God guides sweethearts to our hearts, then sweethearts we should be,
To find true love that's off the charts! Like Jesus has for me!
