The Revolution Will Not Take Place Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Revolution Will Not Take Place

An evolution must come,
Before a revolution.
We must change mentally,
Psychologically and physically,
To make progress,
To find security and peace.
Our brothers are fighting in the streets for nothing.
They are haggling and chatting in the Parliament,
Like weak therifiers, like sad beggars.
Finally, they betray and kill themselves for goods,
Properties and stuff that they'll leave behind.

Hypocrites, they backstab our youth
Who, now, has no future in the press.
The uncle toms refuse to change their manners.
They talk about revolution, to only cause confusion.
They forget that people are neither fools nor beasts.
Nowadays, we must talk about the evolution
First, about other forms of whipping the horses,
And of frightening the donkeys and the arrogant mules.
It is necessary to categorically use other gloves,
To crush these boxers, these unhealthy hooligans,
Who loot the village and the neighborhood,
In order to violate the girls who refuse to be frivolous,
And who refuse to be sold for pennies and cents.
We must make an evolution first.
We must start from the north,
Go south, then west, and finally to the east.
Come on, let's go. Let us invite the rest,
To form a strong union.
Yes, we will make an evolution;
Then, we will take action.

The revolution will not take place,
Without the permission of the Great God.
