The Right Question Poem by john soltis

The Right Question

If God in His wisdom made Man - just below the Angels!

Then Man must ask God and himself - If this is so

Was it worth it God?

For what has Man wrought?

A little good, but alas much more evil.

What would you say? Not like Shakespeare said

'To be or not to be? ' - 'That is The Question! ', but

'To make man or not to make man? ' That is the Real Question!

Directed not at us, but directly to God.

But God has already answered the question. Why you say?

Because he elected to make us without our consent.

So we humans are stuck and I must fhen ask you

Which question is really right?
