The Rise Of The Compatriots Poem by Adams King

The Rise Of The Compatriots

Rating: 5.0

The beautiful sun still shines
Upon an ugly nation
The grasses grows green
In a withered land

The compatriot arise
The citizens clamors for change
In a peaceful protest we march
With an unending propagation

Democracy! They say
A government for the people
This government in our nation
Are against the people

Many words have been spoken
Yet none has been heard
Many tears have been shed
Yet none has been wiped

How sad that sweet lives
Are lost in bitter moments
How bad when good people
Are ruled by the bad ones

To be killed as freemen
Is better than to die as slaves
We would rather die
Then be ruled by this monsters

If we perish, we perish
Unstoppable we march
To shake the pillars of politics
Bringing down corrupt men to justice

We march as one people
We cry with a single voice
We are men of better vision
We are men of no religion

We fight for no tribe
We fight for no religion
We fight for no profession
We fight for our nation
