The Road To Recovery Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Today I leave Northwick Park Hospital,
To Willesden I do go,
The Road To Recovery starts today,
But my Future I do not know.

Into YOUR Hands I put my Faith,
And towards my goals will work,
To make my frail body fit again,
Physiotherapy I will not shirk.

My aim in Life is to live once more,
But the timing I leave to YOU,
To rush it will be a sin
As my mindset is governed by YOU.

My Faith in YOU stronger is,
I pray YOU will watch over me,
As I daily progress towards my goals
On the Road To Recovery.

Aided by the Nurses and Medical Staff
Whose aim is to get me well,
To Serve THEE with all my strength,
From the ulcers that were a Living Hell.
