The roads lay open
The roads lay open
For us to reach heaven
If we have driven with resolve
All problems can be solved
I chose the road
That seemed with full of dangerous trend
The roaring of lion was heard
I asked heard to find word
The reply came straightway
I was to concentrate and pay
My whole attention towards goal
I responded to sincere call
The road was not smooth
And threatened with death
But I surged ahead with determination
It paid rich dividend and earned distinction
Roads may present deceptive outlook
But we need to shake the head
Think in positive terms
And turn the tide in favour
