The Rose Tattoo
A rose tattoo must be
Painful to get
Especially on the reverse
Of where you sit.
The placement is bold
So I have been told
But on this cutie
It's a thing of beauty.
(Which the poets say
Is a joy forever)
And a joy to behold
....If you're not too old
Oh, I see now
She has another inking
On her arm.
Hadn't noticed that before.
What have I been thinking! .
