"The Roses" Poem by Jeremy May

"The Roses"

it is nothing without something to be a greater somebody.
I am nothing with out your breath. Nothing with out your tears.
I am not alive unless you are walking through the garden with me. I can not move with out your motives' can not long for warmth if I have never the felt the cold. I can not see light if I have not stood in the dark. My anger is not one of contentment. It is born of confusion. I will not give you satisfaction until the day I am once again within your reach. Until the day I am in your arms once more. I am holding you accountable for my hug. And I will claim it when I see you again.
