The Rush Poem by Jordan Everly

The Rush

It happens so fast
Just like I can't stop it
The scars left by it are just a memory
At first it was a little bit

Now I see
The blood is a dark color of red
You were right all along
The pain started when I began to bled

Don't run with scissors
My sins are by razor sharp knifes
I've dealt with the devil
Like having more than one life

Skin is white as the moon
Cut into the wrist
Red will start to show soon
Make your final wish

Rushed to the hospital
Veins are split apart
They yell hold on
You say your part

Goodbye to you
Goodbye to me
Goodbye to all
This is my final plea
