The ruthless
Inconsiderate
And cruel life,
You hardly left me
With a joyous choice.
When in school,
I cut my throat,
Since,
Although I received
A great applause,
The judge gave
His fiancée's daughter,
The wrongly adjudged
First prize.
Thus,
I lost my singing career,
And my melodious voice.
When in college,
As student of Science.
They broke my beaker,
During exams,
Thus breaking my dream,
Of becoming a Doctor of the eyes.
Not very long ago,
My wife gave me a
Separation
Or divorce choice.
The ruthless,
Inconsiderate,
And cruel life.
You hardly left me,
With a joyous choice.
