The Sacrilege Poem by Floy Dy Ra Aka Floyd Floydson

The Sacrilege

Rating: 5.0

One thing is in everything
and everybody needs it
sometimes it's salty
another time sweet
it is never quiet
but always moving
it springs from the earth
or fall down from the sky
it flows in all directions
flat or very deep
it cools and refreshes
or steaming from the ground
and clear thirsty fire
it flows through our mountains and meadows
falls down cascadically
accumulates in lakes and sea
lets green grow and prosper
creates food and life for us
May quench all thirsty beings
yes, we are largely made up of it ourselves
we prepare the food in it
and cool engines
wash laundry
and we mix drinks
swim and dive in it
let ships sail on it
cook coffee and tea with it
flush our toilets with it
and throw in garbage and plastic
All in all, man remains
a pig.
