The Safe Way Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Safe Way

Forty words:

Never imbibe when driving

Concentrate on the wheel

Using both hands for steering

Ignoring how thirsty you feel.

One little sip could spell danger

Causing death to a friend.

Keep your can on the glove shelf

Until the journey's end.
