The Sea, Poem by john o'connell

The Sea,

the sea,
dark tonight -
lights twinkle on a hill
and there is only the sound
of shingle been dragged away,
down into reluctant depths.
above
a foreign-bound plane
flying into the distances
of refreshing
differences and change.
