The Sea And The Pebble
I threw a pebble into the sea.
I thought “Let me at least make one change in the world
Before I am gone”.
But the sea has covered over where my pebble fell,
Just as it covered over my father’s ashes,
And I can no longer tell where in all these waves
My pebble is lying.
