The Sea How It Froths Slowly – As If Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Sea How It Froths Slowly – As If

Rating: 4.5

The sea how it froths slowly -- as if
By under-currents small relentless slow
It churns itself cooling itself afresh
To match with the new Dawn that looks in it
And with its golden locks falls in love

The sea how it froths slowly - and from
The sullen east a strange blue mist arises
To welcome the new Dawn and veil her limbs
Naked from bathing in the pleasant seas.

The sea how it froths slowly -- another day
To our earth is given; another chance;
Another leaf is cut from Nature’s book.

Our civilization will rise to pollute once more.
