The Season Of Me Poem by Moya Staten

The Season Of Me

A Heart so big & full of love,
A passion so intense yet as gentle as a dove
Your eyes so Loud it spoke like lips,
A touch so gentle, didn't know it was my gift..

A smile so bright, it lights up a room, a hug so warm.. don't let goo, it may be too soon.

You can't see love, but sure can feel it, just like a shadow hanging over you.. I am talking loud, but still not saying much.. wanting you to understand..me... this touch..

I have accepted who I am, I have embraced my differences.. you may never be fortunate enough to see me shine, but I finally know where I belong.. I am taking what's mine..

My purpose was given to me at birth, I am shining bright enough.. because I know my worth.
