The Seasons Of Love Poem by Jack Ure

The Seasons Of Love

The season of Love

So are you the winter,
Are you frosty and cold,
No, you are not like winter, you are not frosty or cold,
You are not cold you glow in the gloom for all to see.

So if you are not Winter what are you?
Maybe you are Autumn,
Forever changing, forever loving,
And as the trees change do you change.

Or are you spring?
Just coming through the changing barriers,
Breaking out with rays of warmth and love,
But are you able to provide everlasting faith?

Maybe you're summer,
So warm and fun loving,
Not cold but hot and caring to everything,
But are you just season?

I do not know,
Could you be all four,
A bit of each season
Is this why i love you so.

This is a lovely description of how loves moods can change...compared to seasons of weather is a very good insight as to how it can change. An emotional and well thought out poem. Thankyou.

You have described the seasons so well here Jack...and then to realize that one person can be all 4 in one is brilliant...thank you for sharing it with us...
