The Shadow of Regret
clings on to your guilt like a lonely ghost wandering without a home
making you numb to the point of no return
it steals things that once brought joy
but it wasn't your fault so why should you regret,
don't.

Don't regret
don't let your mind hang on to that shadow
move forward
Look ahead
don't turn your head and regret.

It's worth every mistake to gain knowledge
regret will always keep you stuck in the same place
if you keep looking back with regret
you will never move forward toward a better day
so don't, don't regret.

Even when it feels hopeless like a hole caving in
don't regret
don't ponder the thought
don't look back in regret
and think 'what if'.

Remember
The future is where your life lays
and even if mistakes are made
don't look back in regret.
Just remember the memory..

Eyes are better looking forward
so don't keep looking to the past
move forward
if you look forward
everything will move faster.

When you look back life will move slow
so don't look back
look forward and run
run for a better life and keep on moving forward
