The Shadow Of The Firefly Poem by Abdur Rob

The Shadow Of The Firefly

Time lets
I will be nowhere
In your city plan;
Without me, new cities and suburbs
Will be built.
I don't know who will wait at
The signals of those cities,
Whether there will be
Any signals at all.
It took a long time,
Trying to immigrate.
With a lot of shouting and effort,
The achievement that had been made
Have to be left behind.
The last time I saw a firefly,
I don't remember, just remembered
It's blue light that day
Ignited
The darkness of my chest
So today I'm still here
In the firefly's shadow.
