The Shelter

Lean on me
when you're lost and forgotten,
I will stand by you,
to ease your burden.

Lean on me
when you're sad and in pain,
I will sit beside you,
in the pouring rain.

Lean on me
when you're out of hope,
I will carry you in my arms,
to help you cope.

Remember me your friend,
on whom you can depend,
in times of sorrow,
when there's no tomorrow.

Your trust in me,
shall come to be,
this friendship's shelter,
that will last forever.
