I think today, the stress and amount of time needed to read poems in modern English, is already a fight against the clock and outside world activities, actions etc etc etc, so why read in old English? Too much to ask of me, though I hve read the poem in its facelift, and think it very acceptable, though again too long. But who am i to judge, some may like this tackle, and why not, it takes all sorts to make a world. Panmelys
Sorry, I haven't the patience to struggle through this to figure out what it is saying. Why not choose something easy to understand for poem of the day instead? I've been traveling for four days without being able to log in and have to come back to this?
