The Short Journey Poem by Tony Adah

The Short Journey

Rating: 4.0

Hours linger when we earn
Seconds fly when we spend
Soon the night stains the beautiful
Colour of the day
So short the journey is
And the world a hollow place
Deserted like a hive invaded
By a pangolin.
