The Silent Death Poem by bikram baniya

The Silent Death

for all the love i gave, she gifted me suffocation.
for all the trust i had, she gave me a pain of separation.
what amazed me was that she jabbed me without any hesitation.
for all the sting i got, she even had no explanation.

you sabotaged my feelings like i would not get hurt.
i gave you all i could and u treated me like a dirt.
she burned our love but there wasnt even a puff of smoke.
she gave me a silent death, and nobody saw me choke.

love, i believe it is just a myth.
she took everything, left nothing i could live with
more than i could ever utter i loved thee.
but i never understood why she killed me.

hunts me the solitude, hounds the dejection.
all i ever asked for was just a bit of affection.
i don't have the strength to fill up my heart's hole.
because you my girl have mercilessly slayed my soul.

Though very poignant and melancholic in nature but the betrayal of love is detailed so perfectly what touches the heart.
