The Silent Diva Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Silent Diva

Is it the Wisdom Bird?

She reads the signs of night, the stars, the moons
The heavens immense.

Of the long night a Diva?

Of silent coming Dawn stealing her way
The watcher?

And in the day escaping from her cage
Roaming in forlorn places disconsolate?
