The old man walked into the pub
Where he meets members of the single men's club,
They meet their many times a week
Where of good times and joys and memories they speak.
They stay out as long as they want to
And they do whatever they want to do,
They talk about sports and also about politics
As they throw darts and eat breadsticks.
When they head home only they will know when
Because, they are all happy single men,
Sometimes the single men just want to say, "Hi! "
And for others a drink they will buy.
A single man enjoys to devote himself to something
Hobbies and volunteering and not a wedding ring,
He's never looking for compromises
But, for future plans and goals that over the horizon rises.
He is never in a rush and he never has to hurry
And about a woman he doesn't have to worry,
Whenever he wants to he happily comes home late
And he alone chooses his own fate.
Sometimes he'll visit a friend at his house
The friend that of corse that has no spouse,
A single man enjoys the life that they are living
And they always forgive each other of their own misgiving.
They're not single because they can't find a woman
That's not why any of them are a single man,
They're single because every time a woman they find
The women shows them why it's better off to be the single kind.
