The Skies Are Grey Poem by racheal wiese

The Skies Are Grey

I walk along the road, Ice crisp and crunching on the ground.
cars rushing by me, bitter wind is all around.

I look into the distance, I look beyond tomorrow.
searching for an answer, to replace all of my sorrow.

A tiny sparkle lay upon my cheek as I think of your smiling face,
Why did you leave so soon you didn't finish the race.

I look for the answer as i look above, skies grey and filled with little love.

the roaring sound of thunder i feel beneath my feet the smell of the rain, the taste so sweet.

the small glimmer of sunshine, the small ray of light, the hope of you being here makes everything right.

I hold onto your hand as you walk by my side, when i'm not strong, when i want to hide.

You carry me when I'm too weak to walk,
You Listen to my heart even When i don't talk.

watch over and guide me, lead where you want me to go, I will follow you where you want me to go.

Foregive me if i stumble, forgive me if i fall, forgive me if i don't turn to you at all.

the skies are grey, its at the edge of night no matter what happens i know i will be alright
