Taking A Chance - Poem by racheal wiese
I see the roaring ocean,
I feel the mighty wind,
I know your always with me,
you are the mighty king.
I see a change,
you've made for me,
i need to take a chance,
I look back at the past,
but just to take a glance.
no need to sit and ponder,
on what i did so wrong,
your hand's now in my life,
i guess you waited for me too long.
you gave an opportunity,
its one I'm going to take,
please help me god,
let this not be a mistake.
help me move away from here,
I hold your word now oh so near,
I'm scared of what my future holds,
im scared I'm being stupid,
thats what I'm told.
I leave behind a chapter in my own little book,
let me be a recipe, but make yourself the cook,
let people see you in all that i do.
I pray that lord they will be attracted to you,
through the words i speak may they here your voice,
take me to those people to give them a choice,
to life a life with your love,
and sit with you in heaven above.
