The sky above
and earth down
his condition remains unknown
he has to beg despite the people's frown

sometimes with a hungry stomach
and sometimes aching in head
no leave is granted for his survival
if he doesn't beg, he has to suffer as an unfortunate individual

no future
and no cure
for his poverty
everything is left to an almighty

nights are threatened with a severe cold
the sufferings are untold
the world is so cruel
he has nothing to hide or reveal

what is the future for children?
he can't think even
they may face the same fate
he visualises the rejection gate

it is the biggest curse
that no one can address
he has to face the ordeal
and feel it as real

"What kind of life he has been given"
he asks God often
I shall die like a beggar
there is no future, here

the world is so big
he tries to dig
remembers about the childhood spent
he has no reason to resent

show little mercy if you can
give him food if we have not given him
if we are blessed with
just be lenient with good faith
