The Sky People Poem by james watkin

The Sky People

1/

Of all this candour of sky
No sun can hide in
They have made a secret place.
Dark as a shadow, without
The land shadowing.

Diplomacy that regards
In its show of peace
Not man's irrational frights!
While they, as kin, allude us
As vague gods increase.

2/

They sail on the periphery
Of the possible.
Inside a bubble,
For dispassionate
Tone's transparency.

What correlation with spume
Of man's rage have they?
Must their source be fey
Since wavelets on the
Milky Way illume!
