The Smile
A smile, a laugh
Is all you see
Yet do you know
The real me
The smile is hiding
The pain inside
The laugh drowns out
The tears I have cried
The lights go out
The smiles departed
The laugh cries out
The feelings have started
A smile, a laugh
Yet it`s a fake
A lie I hold onto
That keeps me awake
