The Snow Trail Of Heaven Poem by Debora Soramaki

The Snow Trail Of Heaven

It was a four mile journey
As we were surrounded on either side
Of the trail with what looked like
Trees made of dark chocolate covered
With bright white ice milk.
There were no strong winds prevailing,
Just a mighty calm that
Only JAH can provide.
Tiny flakes of snow tossed
Lightly all around
Caressing our cold, pale cheeks,
Nestling upon our eyelashes,
Tickling our noses as if they
Were teasing us along the way,
Embracing the moment that
Only JAH can provide.
We were safe now, securely entwined
In the giant whiteness of His love.
No noise from the outside world
Could be heard as deeper and darker
We were lead into the soft calm
Of the early evening
To be in His presence as
Only JAH can provide.
