The Son To The Father Poem by james watkin

The Son To The Father

Humanity's grim message
Interpret with mercy.
Its outcry having waded;
Where is The Mourner's Sea!

For love of it I sank in
Its bosom, collective.
To its shuddering depths, when
To reach its invective

In the gasped "my God, my God
Why have you forsaken me? "
You know was but to echo
A race 's desperate plea.
