The song that you sung
Was clear, strong,
And wise
Centuries ago
A Man, Saint Francis roamed the hills
In sack-cloth
Ate black bread
And in the day
Spoke with bird and lynx
Rabbit, deer, bear
And lions that came to him:
So many, so many, manifold!
They too had No-Thing but themselves.
Only the race of Man for Possession yearns.
For these this race wars, sibling, sibling kills
And more; more, more, more.
And this race to possess, possess, posses
Not with its Mind-Brain but its Lust.
