The Spirit Inside Poem by Naveed Akram

The Spirit Inside

The spirit is inside you, care has arisen,
The design of a word is upon the laughing lips.
It tells you what is separate from the heart,
A long time is upon the quaking, trembling soul.

The heart never stops, dying everyday, living some,
Like a pleasurable ball of brilliant storms and light.
Die now on this riverbank, filling the minds with
Reflections, over your thrown soul, the very soul.

You have no idea when the rights are cancelled,
Who is man to keep asking the separate grace?
A grim, stagnant tale appals the major thinkers,
Who man has become in the philosophical manner.
