The Stance
Looking upon others -
people commonly hold a position
they imagine - to be the top one,
or they may see, as their best
or one, they take for world's best
or believe, God's favourite -
anyhow - their utter bet.
And truly,
it never fails - till
the very end, it coming
as a surprise,
or the hint of peace.
