The Stary Dream Of A Boy Poem by Linda J Wolff

The Stary Dream Of A Boy

Rating: 5.0

Restless is the dreams of a boy—
Dreamscape that stirs through the day into night.
A lonely tree stands— branching.

The daylight facade of fear.
And he runs from who, what, or where.
A reverie series of thoughts weave…
he escapes through his sleep into
the black of night— stars embrace his visionary
and the release of reality.

Dreamlike state trickles into tomorrow,
and into the arms of her.

A strongly desired urge to be understood
and to find a star that fully satisfies a wish.
A self-luminous star.
A celestial body infusion with his soul.

His stary dream.

A great poem, I think you got it down pretty well writing as someone else.
