The Stolen Crown Poem by Kaitlin Schmidt

Nothing was wrong with him at least in plain sight
He was strong, attractive, and extremely bright
There was nothing to change nothing to fix
And best of all her lips had touched his

Those blue eyes could do no wrong
When he spoke it was like he was singing a song
His smile completely melted her heart
He was perfect they would never be apart

They were always together always having fun
He came to her side when no one else would come
This amazing guy became her whole world
And then one day the girl was hurt

The guy she thought who could do no wrong
Made it very clear that he was done
No attempt of working it out
Just see ya, let's just be friends
You aren't important this is the end

I will do what I want and you can just leave
Move on with your life it will be a breeze
So the girl took his advice and soon found
Her so called prince had stolen the crown

Her eyes opened up and joy filled her eyes
He is not it, he is not worth my time
My prince is still out there, the perfect guy for me
In the end it will be alright just wait and see

My prince will love me and fight for me
Not when things get tough get up and leave
He will love me til his very last day
Keep your head up girl your prince is on his way!
