The Storm Is Over Poem by Qiniso Mogale

The Storm Is Over

I was drowning in the waves of life
I was drowning in the deep waters of
the river of life
The hurricanes of life were hitting me
very hard
The cyclones were hitting me very hard
I was drowning in heavy debts
Gasping for breath in debts
The storm of life threatened to destroy me
The storm of life almost killed me
But God said "not my anointed"
He calmed the storm
He stopped the storm
The storm is over
The storm is over.
