The Struggle Poem by Justin Sisson

The Struggle

Memories and chains will I ever be set free
Can I ever be just me
I once thought about a dream that let me soar through the clouds
Raindrops hitting my skin like a beautiful sunrise like back then
Back then when my world made sense before I grew up
And let this darkness consume me for so long
Well I'm finally seeing what I can be
Finally able to touch my thoughts and make them come to life
I've been weeping and bleeding for far too long
Come take my soul
Ease me into control
You're the one
You're the one
With the unbreakable silence against me
The person with the answers and let me get lost
It's worth fighting for so I can't let you take my pride
So before I die
listen to these lies and finally for once
I'll break free of these delusions
Just don't look me in the eyes
Soon I'm just going to survive
Fight for whats right
For Once I Don't Want To Die

(note) I am trying different ways to write maybe I'll find the balance again.. It's been far to long since I've wrote..or well like I used too :) Hope you like it.
