Somewhere in me I found me alone
but I think I'm far from lonely
Something in me misses someone
Best memories keep creeping up on me
And they hurt like hell
Best memories do hurt like hell
but I think I'm far from lonely
Well, I think i'm okay,
but I guess I need help
I'm stronger than I think I am
but my heart is crying out for help
Will this wounded soul find a cure in this life?
I think it's better for me to shut up
'Cuz I think i'm going to be just fine
but to be just fine isn't enough
I want something back
If it's impossible for me to reach that love again
At least, restore me to where I can see blue skies,
green trees and colors in my soul
Where rivers of joy overflow freely
Where peace and tranquil atmosphere is not hard to find
Where I can hear the birds singing praise
and angels sweet cadence
Where I am not afraid to be me
Where best memories don't hurt me anymore
but I think it's not going to happen in this life
I think i'm never going back to okay
But I'm going to have peace anyway
As long as I live or die for Jesus
This life is cruel
And I think that's cool
No, it's not at all
but i'll grow in this struggle
or this struggle will grow in me
I don't care. It doesn't matter
No, it does. but I don't think so
I know deep inside me that i'm going to be okay
I'm alone but i'm far from lonely
