The Sun Of Carolus Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

The Sun Of Carolus

That fiery ball of light
So awesome as it's bright
Which stands for things when true
Which honeyed lies can't do

The sun may dim within
Like when the truth didn't win
And darkest in the most
When reason had been lost

At times fortune declines
Believe the sun still shines,
For Eskimos are right
The sun can show at night.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Many a year ago, an Eskimo girl in the net asked for a poem. This I wrote since I knew not anything personally about her.
