The Sun Of My Life Poem by Sheela Toshili

The Sun Of My Life

The fruit of my longest, joyful labour indeed
Cared and nurtured from the time you took seed

Your sweetness and perfection left me spell bound
twinkling eyes promised endless fun

dancing arms with tuneful fingers well formed
kicking, pounding feet like a player ever born

lips that slid from pout to smile at lightning speed
bursting to sing and ask questions

skin and hair like softest silk
truely you are a wonder, the sun of my life
