The Suspect Poem by Daisy Pereira

The Suspect

Rating: 5.0

Day's agony
night's silences
time has touched my being
cold bed of dead leaves.

I found the symmetry of your dreams
enchanting guileless and captivating

Quivering, the night air softly touches you!

For tomorrow is another day
tomorrow is another year

this year brought you to me

unaware pointless and hopeless!

yet still you are there
stilled in the stillness
of our togetherness!
