The Talent Within
There is something within me that needs to be released
There is a day of clouds that needs happier thoughts
as a sunshine break.
There is such a dense fog in the way that I need to break through
so that you may hear my song
or my dance
or my many other talents.
I want you to know
that what I do is worth something,
something more
than the nothing
you say it is now.
