The Tao Of Goggs. Poem by Nomad Goggs

Bear things patiently,
Face adversity with courage,
Do not allow yourself to be degraded by pleasant vices,
Have respect for yourself in all that you do,
Remember you are no better, or worse, than anyone else,
Have tolerance with difference, make allowances for others,
Respect others wishes as much as your own,
Be honest and truthful, most of all to yourself,
Do not wish for more than you honestly need,
Or wish for that which you know you cannot have,
Treat as you would wish to be treated,
Be faithful and reliable, be discrete,
Have dignity and pride, but do not be false,
Do not favour yourself if you know it's not right,
Be yourself, be happy,
Do your best, work hard for what you want,
Make sure that what you strive for is what you really want,
Have respect for your body, your mind and your soul,
Draw strength from yourself, be pleased with achievements,
Then you will find contentment.
