THE TEACHER

Teacher is dedicated
To loyal service
Silver spoon not
Not this lot.
For teacher cared,
More for people,
To see truth
In lessons learned.

The chalk white,
On black board,
Hour glass poured
Sand over time
Into fertile minds
Waiting for knowledge.
Priorities are priorities.
Make a choice.

Teacher began work
On the farm
Plowing the ground.
