The Teddy Bear Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Teddy Bear

The comfort of a Teddy Bear is terrific
As he patiently listens and understands…
The explanation is less than scientific
He always loves without demands

When feelings burst into tears
No medication can help give a cure
Like a gentle squeeze that eases fears
He has a sure way to sooth and reassure

Soft and cuddly, within a reachable touch
Happily waiting for a heartfelt hug
Never judgmental…He cares so much
As a sleeping child keeps him warm and snug

It would be nice if we all had such a friend as you describe here so nicely. A picture worth viewing.
