Here in this theater
Opposing desires war
The indwelling Spirit
Against the flesh vestige
Who has won my heart?
And who is my enemy?
Who then do I gratify?
In this fierce encounter
I desire to please only
The lover of my soul

Interesting title on this one, reminds me of one by Walter Savage Landor called Plays. One I love dearly. In Frost Flowers I was reminiscing about the designes that frost used to make on my bedroom windows so long ago. Our grandchildren no longer see them. Read mine - I Cannot Return - Adeline
