The Then And The Now
The strength I'm ssupposed to have
Melts away,
With my face
Tears fill my entire body
With a sad and sweet ache,
Stabbing through my heart
As I look back
At what once was
And silently realize
I haven't changed and
Neither have they
Just the same slow seeping sadness
That I've been holding down,
Hiding
